Meet the Team Behind Sankalpa

Farida F. Mistry, Director-Projects (Women’s Empowerment), is a Master Trainer and Makeup Expert with 18 years of experience in grooming, soft skills, and personality development. With over 15 years of association with the retail and luxury industry, she has held prominent roles, including Country Head of Training at L'Oréal India for seven years, General Manager of Training at VLCC for four years, and Head of Training and Development at Lakmé India for five years. Farida has also served as a Master Trainer for renowned international luxury brands such as Shiseido, Clarins, and YSL.

Since 2016, Farida has been deeply committed to training women from underprivileged backgrounds, equipping them with skills, knowledge, and motivation to become independent professionals. She is also a member of the Government of India’s panel (DGET) for developing short-term courses in makeup, hair, skin, and spa. Through her association with Sankalpa, Farida conducts impactful sessions to empower women from underserved communities, helping them become self-sustaining and successful individuals.

Mr. K. Bhushan is a well-recognized Electronics Industry Specialist with extensive expertise in marketing, production, finance, corporate planning, and managing consumer, communication, automation, and IT-related businesses. An Electronics Engineer from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a Postgraduate in Business Management, Mr. Bhushan began his career with the TATA Group, overseeing the marketing and sales of electronic systems and the export of NELCO products.

In 1980, he joined the UPTON Group as Vice Chairman and Managing Director, where he played a pivotal role in increasing the company’s turnover exponentially. He later served as Managing Director at Yokogawa India Ltd., where he diversified the company's business from industrial automation systems to software and established a modern Software Technology Park at Electronic City, Bangalore. Following this, he successfully led Cosmic Softech Ltd. as its Managing Director.

Since 2010, Mr. Bhushan has been serving as the full-time Chairman of I.V. Communications Ltd. His contributions extend beyond his professional roles, as he has been a member of the State Electronics & Communication Board, Chairman of the Council of State & Public Sector Electronic Corporations and Companies (COSPEC), and President of several professional organizations, including IETE, AIMA, and WISITEX. His leadership and expertise continue to leave a lasting impact on both the industry and the social causes he champions.

As Director Social Causes, he plays a pivotal role in identifying projects and associating with them.

Krishna Kumar is the Founder Director of M/s Digital Info Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and has been the backbone of the company since it was established, driving its growth and success over the past decade. With a B.Tech in Electronics & Communications and over 10 years of extensive experience in the IT domain, he is committed to developing industry-leading software solutions and services that significantly enhance quality, productivity, and profitability for clients.

Under his leadership, the company has achieved remarkable growth and expanded its expertise across various sectors, including hospitality, textiles, footwear, tobacco, manufacturing, and prototyping industries. He has played a pivotal role in managing and executing numerous ERP, MIS, and networking projects, showcasing his specialization in software and hardware project development and implementation. Alongside his technical expertise, Krishna possesses exceptional marketing and sales skills, which have been instrumental in establishing Digital Info Solutions as a trusted name in the industry.

Notably, under his guidance, the company has been appointed as an MSP for RailTel (a Miniratna enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India) for the Delhi and Punjab Circle to extend its Railwire services. A founding member holding 50% stakes in the company, Mr. Krishna remains dedicated to expanding its business foray. His vision has positioned Digital Info Solutions as a technology consultancy focused on offering BPO services, software development, voice and data networking, data management services, and dynamic solutions where business and technology strategies converge.

Krishna has been actively involved in donor relations and spearheading new projects for Sankalpa, contributing significantly to the organization's initiatives and community impact.

Monu Bhatnagar has been an integral part of the AKG Group for over two decades. Joining the organization straight out of school, she has grown alongside it, learning and evolving through hands-on experience. With a background in computers from NIIT, Monu's journey within the group has progressed from managing the front desk to overseeing the founder's office as well as HR and administration functions across various group entities.

Associated with Sankalpa since its inception, she has played a pivotal role in executing numerous initiatives and projects, contributing significantly to their success. Her dedication and adaptability continue to make her a valued asset to the organization and its community-driven efforts.
